Air leather, also known as leathaire, is a synthetic material made of micro-perforated polyurethane. It is designed to replicate the look and feel of genuine leather while offering improved breathability, durability, and ease of maintenance. Each square meter of air leather has 10,000 tiny air holes, which makes it exceptionally breathable and comfortable. Air leather is often used as an upholstery material for furniture or automotive seats because it is durable and comfortable. It is marketed as a woven fabric that feels like leather but has the breathability of a synthetic material. Air leather does not require the same care and maintenance as real leather, but regular dusting and wiping with a damp cloth are advised to keep it clean.
