LOC stands for "List of Candidates" in CBSE. It is a list of basic details of all the students prepared by the schools. The objective of the LOC is to get a list of demographic data and subject combinations opted by the students who are regularly attending classes in the school and are not registered with any other School Education Board in addition to CBSE. The LOC is submitted by the schools to CBSE for the purpose of registration of students for the Class X/XII Examination. It is important for schools to submit the LOC data on time to complete the registration process for the board exams.
