The South Node in astrology represents the energy, relationships, or emotions that weve experienced in a past life and are trying to release in this lifetime. It is the karmic energy that we are trying to move out of, release, and leave behind. The South Node encourages us to examine these feelings and relationships from the past and to get rid of the ones that aren’t serving us anymore. It gives us a sense of déjà vu, as we have been there, done that, and are trying to move out of that way of thinking. The sign in which the South Node is located indicates how we should go about it and the house tells us in which area we must act to evolve spiritually. If we listen to the South Node, we copy and paste behaviors that pull us down and bog us down into a situation that is no longer desired. Therefore, it is wise to be more attentive to our North Node, which represents the unique direction that each of us are being called to explore and become.
