The NBA Canada Series is a series of basketball games featuring National Basketball Association (NBA) teams that are played in Canada. The first official series started in 2012, although previous preseason games have been played in Canada outside of Toronto before. The games are played in different cities across Canada, and the series is overseen by Dan MacKenzie, vice-president and managing director of NBA Canada. The NBA Canada Series games are usually played in October, before the start of the NBA regular season.
The NBA Canada Series presented by Bell will feature two preseason games in Vancouver and Montreal in October 2023. The games will be played between the Toronto Raptors and the Sacramento Kings on October 8 in Vancouver, and between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Detroit Pistons on October 12 in Montreal. The NBA Canada Series has been held annually since 2012, and the 2023 series will be the ninth edition of the event.
Tickets for the NBA Canada Series presented by Bell will go on sale at a later date, and fans can register their interest for exclusive presale ticket access by visiting NBA.com/CanadaSeries.
