NCP days stands for Non-Contributory Period days, which denotes the number of days for which an employee has been absent from the office or workplace for a non-contributory period. During NCP days, PF contribution will not be paid to the employees PF account. If an employee is absent for a certain number of days in a month, the EPF/EPS contribution for those days will not be there. NCP days refer to the period during which an employee is not contributing to the Employees Pension Fund. The Non-Contributory Period of Service is the number of days for which the member did not get wages, and so for those number of days, NCP 1 and NCP 2 days are considered.
