Neco-Arc is a character that appears in various franchises of the Japanese video game company Type-Moon. She is a pint-sized cat girl parody of Arcueid Brunestud, the main heroine of the visual novel Tsukihime. Neco-Arc first appeared in the "Teach Me, Ciel-sensei!" segments of Tsukihime, which take place after getting a bad ending. In these segments, Neco-Arc joins Ciel Sensei in giving some humorous tips on how to get a good ending next time. Neco-Arc is supposed to be a blood-sucking cat gremlin, instead of a blood-sucking vampire like Arcueid Brunestud. She is a parody character and acts as the mascot character of Type-Moon. Neco-Arc has also appeared as a playable character in the video games Melty Blood and Fate/tiger colosseum Upper, as well as a character in the 2011 Type-Moon anime Carnival Phantasm. Neco-Arc has gained renewed interest in 2021 after the announcement and release of a Tsukihime remake titled Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon.
