The Nithari case, also known as the Nithari serial murders or Noida serial murder case, is one of the most gruesome and horrifying cases of 2006. The case involved the abduction, sexual abuse, and brutal murder of children and young women in and around a house in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India between 2005 and 2006. The victims were mostly from poor families living in a nearby slum called Nithari. The case was named after the village where the house was located.

The main suspects in the case were Moninder Singh Pandher, a businessman, and his domestic help, Surendra Koli. Koli would lure the children to the house by offering them sweets and chocolates, murder them, have sex with their corpses, dismember them, and cook and eat the body parts. He would throw the bones and other body parts into a drain or open sewer. Pandher was accused of aiding Koli in the crimes.

Both Pandher and Koli were sentenced to death on charges of rape and murder. However, in 2023, the Allahabad High Court acquitted them citing lack of evidence. The court found Koli innocent in 12 cases against him, while Pandher was found innocent in two cases against him. The verdict of the court cancelled their death penalty. The case has been referred to as the "Nithari killings".
