It was developed for their overseas market and is designed to run on OnePlus phones but shares a codebase with Oppo’s own ColorOS. OxygenOS was developed to be a clean, minimalist, near-stock version of Android. The latest version of OxygenOS is OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13. Some notable features of OxygenOS include app permissions, Waves MaxxAudio, Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard, off-screen gestures, custom icons, dark mode, manual camera mode, and RAW support for 3rd party apps. OxygenOS also has unique features such as Zen Space, HyperBoost, and a Zen Mode to help with productivity. OxygenOS is known for being fast, smooth, and stable. It also has advanced safety technology, such as multi-layered security safeguards, strong box device security engine, and photo permission management. OxygenOS is available on several OnePlus devices, including the OnePlus 2, OnePlus One, OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, and OnePlus 11.
