POSH training stands for Prevention of Sexual Harassment training, which is a method used by organizations to educate their employees on sexual harassment of women at the workplace and create awareness of all forms of harassment. The training is necessary to foster a respectful and safe working environment for employees. The POSH Act mandates that any organization with more than ten employees (including temporary contract employees or interns) should constitute an Internal Committee which will have the power of a civil jury. They will inquire into POSH complaints and redress them. POSH training helps employees identify and differentiate between appropriate and inappropriate behavior in the workplace. It also educates participants on the legal aspect under the PoSH Act. The training gives a clear understanding of employees of which behavior falls under sexual harassment. The training programs conducted by Protouch always focus on the mindset shift than only talking about the POSH law. POSH talks about the fundamental do and donts at the workplace. But to create a dignified workplace, it is imperative to work on individual owners to bring a change during training programs.
