The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is a three-man commission attached to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the Philippines. Its mandate is to regulate and supervise the practice of professionals, except for lawyers who are handled by the Supreme Court of the Philippines. The PRC conducts licensure examinations for various professions, including Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), engineers, nurses, teachers, and more. These exams are commonly referred to as "board exams".
The PRC board exams are conducted in various testing centers across the country. After the exams, the PRC releases the board exam results, including the list of passers and relevant announcements, usually four working days after the exams. The PRC also provides online services through the Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS), where professionals can submit their board exam applications, renew their licenses, and perform other transactions.
