PRC stands for Pay Revision Commission in Telangana. It is a committee that is constituted by the Chief Minister of Telangana to make recommendations for new pay scales for state government employees. The PRC examines and reviews the existing structure for pensioners and makes recommendations. The PRC takes into account factors such as the current pay scales of Telangana employees vis-a-vis the pay scales of employees of other states and the Centre while making their recommendations. The PRC is required to submit its report to the government within six months.
