Psychomotor seizures are a type of seizure that involves strange behavior that only lasts a couple of minutes. During a psychomotor seizure, a dog may suddenly start attacking an imaginary object or chasing their tail. It can be difficult to distinguish psychomotor seizures from odd behavior, but a dog that has them will always do the same thing every time they have a seizure. Unlike typical seizures, psychomotor seizures cause strange behavior instead of muscle spasms. These types of seizures are hard to distinguish from quirks the dog may have, but with a psychomotor seizure, the behavior will always be the same.
