QHD stands for Quad High Definition, which is a display resolution measuring 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is also sometimes referred to as 1440p or 2K resolution. QHD is four times the resolution of standard 720p high definition, which has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is sharper and more detailed than Full HD (1920 x 1080p), but not as impressive as Ultra HD (4K resolution, 3840 x 2160 pixels). QHD is commonly found on high-end devices like laptops, televisions, and phones. It is ideal for large screens that need more pixels to look crisp. QHD is not to be mistaken for qHD, which stands for quarter high definition, a significantly lower resolution than Quad HD.
