Qunut Nazilah is a special collective supplication that is recited during times of calamity or extreme need in the Muslim community. It is different from the Qunut that is recited daily during the Witr prayer. Qunut Nazilah is prescribed to be recited after standing up from ruku in the last rakah of each of the five daily obligatory prayers, until Allah relieves the Muslims of that calamity. It can also be recited during Friday prayers. There are no specific words for Qunut Nazilah, and any dua may be said depending on the situation and requirement. However, it is important to note that according to the Hanafi Fiqh, Qunut Nazilah should only be recited at times of hardship and difficulties and should not be recited all the time.
