Raiding on Twitch is a feature that allows a broadcaster to send their viewers over to watch another broadcasters stream. When a channel is raided, a message in chat notifies everyone on the target channel about the raid and the number of participating raiders. The broadcaster can choose to start a raid by typing in the raid command or by using the "raid channel" quick action on their creator dashboard. After commencing a raid, the raider’s channel will automatically redirect viewers to the new stream. The raiding channel is given recognition by way of an on-screen notification on the raided channel, pinning the number of new viewers brought along with the raid.
