Re-registration in IGNOU refers to the process of enrolling in the next semester or year of a program in which a student is already enrolled. It is not applicable to Certificate, PG Diploma, and Diploma programs. The re-registration process is open for Indian as well as international students, and it can be completed through both online and offline modes. The steps involved in the online re-registration process are:
- Visit the official website of IGNOU and click on the "Re-Registration" link.
- Register on the portal by clicking on the "New Registration" button.
- Choose the courses carefully and fill in the required details in the re-registration form.
- Pay the re-registration fee online through credit card, debit card, UPI, Netbanking, or ATM card (PNB only).
- Take a printout of the fee receipt and the application form for future reference.
The last date for re-registration for the July 2023 session has been extended to September 30, 2023, with a late fee of Rs. 200. Students are advised to read the instructions carefully before proceeding with the re-registration process. They can also contact their regional center in case of any difficulty in registering on the portal or updating their account details.
