Ride to the Wall is an annual event that began in 2008, where thousands of motorcyclists ride to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, UK, to pay tribute to Britains fallen since the second world war. The event takes place annually in October and is staffed by unpaid volunteers who donate their spare time and do so at their own expense. No one is paid a wage or claims expenses. The event is not to be confused with Run for the Wall, which is an annual motorcycle ride from California to Washington DC to honor veterans and call for an accounting of POW and MIA.
