In Outlook, RSVP stands for "Répondez sil vous plaît," which is French for "please respond." It is a feature that allows users to quickly respond to meeting invitations. When a user receives a meeting invitation, they can select the RSVP option to indicate whether they will attend, decline, or tentatively accept the invitation. The RSVP feature is available in Outlook mobile and Outlook on the web. In Outlook mobile, users can tap the RSVP button next to the invite, see where it falls on their calendar, add a message if they like, and tap Accept, Tentative, or Decline to respond. In Outlook on the web, users can select the RSVP button in the message list, see where the invitation falls on their calendar, add a message if they want, and select Yes, Maybe, or No to send their response. Additionally, detailed RSVP responses will soon be available in Outlook, allowing users to let the organizer and other attendees know how they plan to attend a meeting, whether in person or virtually.
