Samsung Free is a content aggregator service that provides access to news articles, live TV, podcasts, and interactive games in one place. It is a free service that comes pre-installed on Samsung devices running Android 11 and One UI 3 or higher. Samsung Free can be accessed by swiping left on the home screen, and it has three tabs in which the content is sorted: Watch, Read, and Play. The content is made available free of charge to users, and it is customizable based on user preferences. Samsung Free replaces the Samsung Daily feed that used to reside in the leftmost home screen on Galaxy devices. Samsung Free offers a variety of multimedia content from many sources, including news feeds, podcasts, games, and even live-streaming broadcasts using the free Samsung TV Plus service in selected countries. It is not possible to manually add feeds to the app. If you dont want to use Samsung Free, you can disable it by following the steps below:
- Long tap on an empty space on the home screen.
- Swipe the screen to the right until you reach the left-most page.
- Toggle the switch at the top of the page off.
It is not possible to uninstall or delete Samsung Free since it is a stock app.
