The Shaders Optimization process can sometimes get stuck, preventing players from playing the game. If you are experiencing this issue, there are several ways to fix it:

• Restart MW2.
• Go to “Settings-Display,” choose “Restart Shaders Optimization.”
• Verify the integrity of MW2s game files on Steam, or reinstall the game if you are on another platform.
• Check that your system meets the minimum requirements to run Modern Warfare 2.
• Wait for the installation to be completed.
