These services include priority check-in lines, security access (where available), extra baggage allowances, preferential boarding, and expedited baggage handling. Sky Priority is available to the following passengers on every trip:

• Platinum Medallion Members
• Gold Medallion Members
• SkyTeam Elite & Elite Plus Members
• Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold members

At many airports, there are dedicated security lanes for Sky Priority passengers, which can help travelers avoid long lines at crowded terminals. In addition, once at the gate, Sky Priority is one of the earlier boarding groups, which means those who dont purchase or get upgraded to a premium cabin seat can still board the plane earlier to find space for their carry-on bag. Sky Priority members also have their own dedicated check-in area at the airport, and select airports offer expedited security lines to help them get to their Delta flight sooner.

Its important to note that Sky Priority is not the same as access to the Delta Sky Club. Sky Priority is a suite of services designed to improve the airport experience, while the Delta Sky Club is a lounge where eligible passengers can relax, work, or enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages before their flight.
