Sky Sports Red Button is a feature included in some of Skys boxes that allows the user to access interactive content in certain events. The feature works by pushing a red button on the remote control, giving access to features such as different camera angles, language changes, and a multi-angle feed. Sky Sports Red Button has been used to enrich the viewers experience in some of the worlds most important sports competitions, such as the FIFA World Cup, and to improve the experience of watching a Premier League game at home. The feature has given users access to alternative commentary, the chance to choose the feed each user wanted to watch, and the chance to watch any given game working with this feature right from the start, regardless of the moment in which each user tuned into the broadcast.
Sky Sports Red Button is available for Sky Q customers, and the matches on the Red Button will be available in HD quality at no extra cost. To use the feature, when you see a red button symbol on the screen, press the red button on your Sky Q remote or the button with the four colored dots on your Sky Glass or Sky Stream. Sky Sports Red Button is also available for Formula 1, allowing you to view other broadcast cameras such as those in the pit lane or the onboards that are in each of the cars.
