SSC CPO stands for Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization. It is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts, and Sub Inspector Posts. The exam is conducted in four stages: Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME) . The exam is held annually, and the notification for the 2023 exam was released on August 10th, 2022, with the application process expected to start in July 2023. The exam is considered to be one of the most prestigious exams in India and is conducted to recruit applicants for the position of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces.
