The Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) is a state-level exam conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary level teachers (Class 9-10) and Higher Secondary level teachers (Class 11-12) in different schools under Bihar Government. The exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 (Secondary) and Paper 2 (Higher Secondary), and is conducted once a year or as per the decision of BSEB. The exam is conducted in offline mode, and each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions, with a total of 150 marks. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks to clear the tests. A candidate from the general category needs to secure 50 per cent marks to qualify the exam, and candidates from other categories must secure 45 per cent marks to qualify. The Bihar STET exam for Physical Education and Physical Trainer is conducted separately, and the qualifying percentage remains the same as that of Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Bihar STET 2023 exam will be conducted online mode to determine the eligibility of candidates for teacher posts in Classes 9 to 12. The Bihar STET 2023 Notification will contain details such as the eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern, and syllabus. The Bihar STET exam is different from the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) .
