Stream sniping can be mitigated by using a delay, being mindful of what information is shared, playing with a group, reporting snipers, and using settings specifically for streamers that some games offer, such as hiding server names and delaying matchmaking. Stream sniping is considered a form of cheating by many, even if youre helping the streamer, as this can be considered collusion.
