The seventh planet from the sun is Uranus. Uranus is the third-largest planet in the solar system and is known for its unique tilt, which causes it to essentially orbit the sun on its side. Unlike the other planets in the solar system, Uranus is an "ice giant" rather than a gas giant or terrestrial planet. Its blue-green color is the result of methane in its atmosphere. Uranus has a thick cloud cover, and its four biggest moons may harbor salty oceans beneath their frozen surfaces.
