Generation Alpha is the first to be born entirely in the 21st century and the third millennium. They are the most materially endowed generation ever and have brand influence and purchasing power beyond their years. The name "Generation Alpha" was chosen because it follows the Greek alphabet naming convention that began with Generation X.
