The current situation in Gaza is dire, with ongoing violence and destruction. Since October 7th, Israeli forces have launched thousands of air bombardments in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 3,793 people, mostly civilians. The death toll in Gaza has now reached 4,385, including 1,756 children and 967 women, in addition to 13,561 injured. About 1.4 million Gazans have been displaced, with more than half a million people in 147 UN shelters. The situation is catastrophic, with Gazas healthcare system already close to ruin, and its economy in tatters. Israel plans to step up its attacks on the Gaza Strip starting Saturday as preparation for the next stage of its war on Hamas. The military spokesman says they will deepen their attacks to minimize the dangers to their forces in the next stages of the war. Meanwhile, the first aid trucks entered Gaza on Saturday, but Israels military said the aid was for southern Gaza only. Amnesty International is continuing to investigate dozens of attacks in Gaza, and they have found evidence of war crimes as Israeli attacks wipe out entire families in Gaza.
