The CW Television Network is an American English-language commercial broadcast television network controlled by Nexstar Media Group, with a 75 percent ownership interest, through The CW Network, LLC. The networks name is derived from the first letters of the names of its two founding co-owners CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. The CW targets its programming towards younger audiences, and it distributes its programming in small and certain mid-sized markets throughout the United States through The CW Plus, a separate national feed and programming service that is carried on a mixture of full-power and low-power stations in some markets, and cable-only outlets and digital subchannel.

The CW offers a variety of shows, including All American, Superman & Lois, Walker, FBoy Island, premium streaming series, movies, sports, and more. The network does not air any national newscasts, late-night programming, and since 2021, daytime programming.

To watch The CW, viewers can use the CW app or website, which allows them to watch current shows for free the day after they air on broadcast TV. They can also watch older shows from The CW and other networks in The CW’s CW Seed subsection. Another option is to watch any local TV channel that carries The CW with a digital over-the-air antenna.
