Between May 2019 and February 2020, youth in America, the UK, and Spain significantly increased their daily average TikTok video consumption as follows:
- In the United States, kids spent an average of 82 minutes per day watching TikTok videos by February 2020, which was a 116% increase from May 2019 when the average was 38 minutes per day.
- In the United Kingdom, the average daily TikTok watch time for kids rose to 69 minutes by February 2020, up 97% from 35 minutes per day in May 2019.
- In Spain, the increase was even more pronounced, with kids spending 60 minutes per day on TikTok by February 2020, a 150% rise from 24 minutes per day in May 2019.
This data comes from a study by Qustodio based on 60,000 families with children aged 4 to 14 in these countries, highlighting a strong growth trend in TikTok video consumption among youth during this period
