The extension name of MS Excel 2007 is .xlsx. This is the default XML-based file format for Excel 2010 and Excel 2007, and it cannot store Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro code or Microsoft Office Excel 4.0 macro sheets (.xlm) . The .xlsx extension is also associated with files saved with Microsoft Excel (2007/2010) .
