The flower symbol on the iPhone camera app indicates that the Macro mode is enabled. Macro mode is a feature that allows users to take close-up photos of objects that are as close as 2cm to the camera lens. When Macro mode is enabled, the iPhone camera automatically switches from the Wide lens to the Ultra Wide lens when an object is placed within 5.5 inches of the rear camera. The flower icon appears when the camera is close to an object to take macro photos and lets users easily switch between off and on without going into the Settings page. Tapping on the flower icon enables or disables Macro mode.
