The full form of ICSE is the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) administers the ICSE board, which was established in 1958 to provide education in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986 (India) . The ICSE board conducts the ICSE Class 10 and ICS Class 12 examinations every year in English medium. The ICSE syllabus is well-structured and comprehensive, aiming to develop the analytical skills and practical knowledge of the students. The subjects offered by ICSE are divided into three parts: Part I, II, and III. The subjects mentioned in Group 1 are compulsory, while candidates need to choose any 2 or 3 subjects in Group 2 and any 1 subject in Group 3. The ICSE board grants special consideration to candidates who are handicapped in a certain way and makes required arrangements to help them so that their performance does not get affected.
