The full form of USSR is the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The USSR was a transcontinental country that spanned much of Eurasia from 1922 to 1991. It was born out of the Russian Revolution that occurred in 1917, which led to Tsar Nicholas II being overthrown from his monarchy rule by a left revolutionary group called the Bolsheviks. The USSR was a self-governed state, handled by Soviet parties with Moscow as the capital in this democratic state. The USSR was also considered as the replacement of the Russian Empire and was involved in a treaty signed between the countries Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia in the year 1922, which gave birth to the Soviet Socialist Republics.
