The green dot on Bathurst refers to the co-driver of a car who is currently driving. The dot is black if the full-time driver is behind the wheel. The dot is part of the new LED display information for Bathurst. Other colors used in the LED display include yellow (caution, hazard ahead), red (session stopped), and blue (faster car approaching) flags. The green color is also used to indicate when a car has set the individual drivers fastest sector time. The green color can also be used to indicate when a car sets a personal sector and/or overall best lap time.
