The Jack Nicklaus Award is an award given to the best NCAA Division I golf player. It is named after Jack Nicklaus, a legendary golfer who transformed the game of golf and instilled the values of playing the game in the right way, with the right ideals. The award is presented annually to the top mens and womens collegiate golfers in the United States. The recipients of the award are determined by a vote of the Golf Coaches Association of America. Ludvig Aberg from Texas Tech was the recipient of the 2023 Jack Nicklaus Award for his excellence in college golf. In addition to the collegiate award, there is also a Jack Nicklaus Award presented by the PGA Tour to the Player of the Year.
