Effective September 30, 2023, the minimum wage in Florida will be $12.00 per hour. This is an increase from the current minimum wage of $11.00 per hour. The minimum wage in Florida is set to increase gradually to $15.00 per hour by September 2026. The required cash wage for tipped employees will also increase to $8.98 per hour. All Florida employers are required to post the current minimum wage in their place of business where an employee can see it.
