Yellowstone is a TV series that follows the violent world of the Duttons, a ranching family in Montana. The series is set in a corrupt world where politicians are compromised by influential oil and lumber corporations and land grabs make developers billions. The Duttons control the largest contiguous ranch in the United States and operate in a world where their property is in constant conflict with those it borders - an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and Americas first national park. The series engages with the difficult discussion about stolen Native American land that some past Westerns did not. Yellowstone provides something comforting and classical for its audiences while also mixing it up to provide them with not only a new experience but something more to think about. The series stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, and Cole Hauser.
