The Outbox is a folder in Microsoft Outlook that stores email messages that have been composed but have not yet been sent. When an email is sent, it is first routed through the Outbox, where it stays until it is ready to be transmitted to the recipient. Once the email is sent, it moves from the Outbox to the sent items folder. The Outbox folder is a temporary storage location for messages that are being sent, and it should be located in your email accounts mailbox. If an email message cannot be sent, it will remain in the Outbox until it is manually deleted or resent. To delete an email stuck in Outbox, first go to the Send/Receive tab and click Work Offline. This will prevent Outlook from sending email messages that are currently in the Outbox folder. After that switch to Outbox, right-click the message and select Delete.
