As of October 7, 2023, the current population of the State of Palestine is estimated to be 5,404,076. The Palestine population in Gaza and the West Bank was estimated to be 4.817 million as of 2017. The estimated number of Palestinians at the end of 2021 was about 14 million, with 5.3 million in the State of Palestine, 1.7 million in the 1948 territories, and nearly 7 million in the diaspora.
