It is a national safeguarding program that supports people who are at risk of becoming involved with terrorism through radicalisation. Prevent aims to tackle the ideological causes of terrorism, intervene early to support people susceptible to radicalisation, and enable those already involved in terrorism to disengage and rehabilitate.
