The G20 facilitates coordination of policies to promote global economic growth, create quality jobs, and tackle challenges that require multilateral cooperation, including responses to crises like the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. It also focuses on inclusive growth, social protection, and supporting vulnerable countries, especially in Africa. The G20 members represent around 85% of global GDP, 75% of international trade, and two-thirds of the world’s population, making it a vital platform for global economic stability and development
