Turbo mode is a function in air conditioners that activates fast cooling or heating option to bring the room to a desired temperature speedily and effectively. It operates at the maximum fan speed for a certain period of time, usually 30 minutes, to cool or heat the space quickly and effectively. The unit operates in auto fan speed and automatically adjusts the temperature according to the current room temperature. The turbo function is only available in auto/cool mode and cannot be used in dry/fan mode. The function may also increase the fan speed and how aggressive the fans ramp up, and apply a little overclock to the GPU and increase the amount of power the components are allowed to draw. The turbo mode can be selected by pressing the turbo button on the remote control until the turbo indicator appears on the remote control display.
