A U-rated movie is a film that is suitable for all ages and can be watched by anyone, including children aged four and over. These films are family-friendly and can contain universal themes like education, family, drama, romance, sci-fi, action, and some mild violence, but it cannot be prolonged. They may also contain very mild sexual scenes without any traces of nudity or sexual detail. If there is any violence, threat, or horror in a U film, it should be over quickly, and the film should tell children that everything will turn out okay. Swearing, sex, and scary scenes are not allowed in a U-rated movie. The U rating is equivalent to the G rating used by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) for movies, the E rating used by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) for video games, and the TV-G/hard TV-Y rating used for television).
