Virtual Seva is a service provided by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) that allows pilgrims to participate in the temple rituals virtually online. During the COVID-19 pandemic, devotees were not allowed to participate in the temple rituals physically, so TTD started this service to allow devotees to participate in the rituals from their homes. After purchasing the virtual Seva ticket, devotees can watch the Seva online on the SVBC channel. The priests will perform the Seva on behalf of the devotees, and the devotees can watch the proceedings from their homes. The virtual Seva ticket also includes a Special Entry Darshan ticket, which is a special quota rather than the normal Special Entry Darshan quota. Pilgrims and devotees need to watch the Seva on SVBC TV Channel or live on SVBC Youtube Channel. The priests will read out the Gothrams of the devotees who are participating on that day while performing the Seva. The Special Entry Darshan ticket allows devotees to have a darshan within one year from their Seva booking date. To have a darshan, devotees need to select their darshan slot from the available dates. The virtual Seva ticket cannot be used to attend the Seva physically at Tirumala. The guidelines for virtual Seva include producing original supporting documents at the time of entrance, selecting the darshan slot, and not being allowed to participate in the Seva physically at Tirumala.
