Bamboo viscose, also known as viscose from bamboo, is a type of rayon fabric made from the cellulose of bamboo plants. The process of making bamboo viscose fabric involves taking bamboo stalks and steeping them in a solution to break down their structure and make them pliable. The bamboo pulp is then shredded, aged, and ripened before being filtered, washed, and spun into threads that can be woven into a fabric. Although bamboo viscose is technically a man-made fabric, it is created from natural materials. The resulting fabric is ultra-soft, luxurious, and lightweight, with a draping quality that gives it an elegant, flattering look. Bamboo viscose clothing is also strong, durable, and long-lasting, and is resistant to pilling. While the terms "bamboo viscose," "bamboo rayon," and "viscose made from bamboo" can be used interchangeably, they all refer to the same type of fabric made from bamboo cellulose.
