1. Walmarts standard return policy generally gives you three months to bring an item back. Items sold and shipped by Walmart can be returned or replaced, when available, by mail within 90 days of receipt.

2. Walmarts holiday return policy extends the time that customers can bring items back. The retailer says it will keep the extended return policy through the end of January 2023. Walmart will accept returns for most items until Jan. 31, 2023. Walmart will only accept holiday returns if you purchase the items between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31. Any items purchased before Oct. 1 are subject to the standard return policy.

3. Walmart accepts returns for most items within 90 days, subject to certain exceptions and conditions.

4. Walmart Marketplace purchases can be returned within 14 or 30 days of receiving the product.

5. Walmart retains the right to modify or discontinue its return policy at any time.

6. Walmart does not charge restocking or service fees.

To return an item, you can either return it by mail or in person. If you bought an item in a Walmart store, you have to return it in person. Youll need to take the item, along with your receipt, to the customer service desk, which is usually located in the front of the store. If you want to return an item by mail, you need to contact Walmarts customer service team to request your return shipping label. Youll receive an email with a link to print the shipping label, which is marked with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You need to package your item (ideally in its original box), put the label on, and mail it back. Within five days of receiving your return, Walmart will inspect the shipment and apply a credit to the original payment method, or send a replacement (shipping is free) .
