She has also mentioned that she doesnt want to be around a lot of people since MS makes patients susceptible to infections, and she doesnt want a lot of stimulation of the nervous system. Applegate has said that she may give up acting on camera due to the challenges of the disease. She has also mentioned that she wont return to TV and film following her MS diagnosis.
