Anakin Skywalker mainly used Form V, also known as Djem So, in lightsaber combat when he was a Jedi Knight. This form was particularly suited to Jedi of large stature, as it required less agility than other forms and made use of their natural strength. After Anakin became Darth Vader, he continued to use Form V, but he also mastered two other forms of lightsaber combat: Form III (Soresu), which was more defensively-minded and non-aggressive, and Form II (Makashi), which prioritized precise and efficient movements while avoiding disarmament. Vader even studied a third form, Dun Möch, and with all three styles, he was nearly unstoppable.
