MMTC Ltd is a public sector trading body in India that handles the export and import of primary products such as coal, iron ore, agro and industrial products, as well as ferrous and nonferrous metals for industry, and agricultural fertilizers. It is also one of the two highest earners of foreign exchange for India. MMTCs trade activities cover third country trade, joint ventures, and link deals, and it has a vast international trade network spanning almost all countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the United States. MMTC is also the largest player in bullion trade, including retailing, and is Indias largest seller of imported non-ferrous metals.

In addition, mMTC (Massive Machine Type Communications) is a new service category of 5G that can support extremely high connection density of online devices. It is developed by 3GPP and refers to a collection of 5G technologies that are tailored to support the Internet of Things (IoT) through enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable low latency communication (uRLLC), and massive Internet of Things (mIoT) use cases where connectivity needs to handle a large number of devices with limited data rates. mMTC provides a wide area network architecture to deliver high-speed, low latency, and cost-effective communications for a huge number of IoT devices. The benefits of mMTC include enabling a variety of real-world use cases, from intelligent transportation systems to autonomous factories and smart energy grids.
